Garrett Schwartz, principal of Sencer Appraisal Associates, Inc., has been named a Fellow of the American Society of Appraisers and awarded the FASA designation. It is the highest honor the Society grants its members. The recognition reflects years of leadership and service to the valuation profession. Schwartz will be inducted at the ASA International Conference in Fort Worth, Texas, this fall.
What the FASA designation means
The American Society of Appraisers has conferred the grade of Fellow since 1954. Members are nominated by their peers, reviewed by the College of Fellows, and approved by the ASA Board of Governors. Nominees are judged on leadership, ethical conduct, professional impact, and mentorship. Fellows are drawn from the Society’s Accredited Senior Appraisers, and only a small group holds the designation.
Continuing a standard set in 1955
As principal of Sencer Appraisal Associates, Schwartz helps lead a firm that has delivered independent machinery and equipment appraisals since 1955. The firm serves clients from offices in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and Oakland, California, supported by a network of expert associates.
